Small but always has original art pieces and new(ish) clothes. I always find something that I really needed. Not a good selection and wouldnt take my near-perfect condition futon. I meet here with a friend once a week, have yet to be let down. Its small but they have a good variety and friendly staff A little cleaner, and usually better stuff than normal.Īlways clean and organized. Usually not too crowded even on the weekends. The best selection of clothes Ive seen so far at a goodwill. Not sure if I like their remodel but thr staff are nice and always helpful. It is very rare to have to not stand in a line.Ĭloest to me, and always well stocked. Its like every other goodwill, its cheap and sometimes there are good finds. Well we love the after hours sales omg we can actually afford sum of your stuff!?! But I prefer to buy used and not consume fresh resources.ĭecent prices but this location is small and does not have alot like some of the others. The prices are $7-10 for childrens pants. I was happy with how they run they store as well.Ĭonsidering the rate at which thrift stores have closed over the last few years as Portland declines from its apex, any thrift shop is a good thrift shop. They have a few more things than the other Goodwill stores. You have to take extra TIME when looking for rare treasures.Īs far as Goodwills go, this is a good one. Pay by the pound, excellent buys when your paying for clothes by weight and beautiful glasswares. The fitting room rule are kinda weird! Only 6 items at a time and if you have more you have to get back in line to try the rest on. You can find your occasional treasure of course but you might find more in some other locations in wealthier neighborhoodsįairly good selection of apparel. Its not as big or well-stocked as The Bins, but also not skimpy on the selection, either. Its nicely laid out, neat, large, and has pretty good fitting rooms. It doesnt seem like scalpers or resellers hit this one as hard. Its a fairly small store relative to many of those nearby but thats okay. They dont try to gouge on the pricing either. Even found a rare book for my husband as a holiday gift (shhhh.).īetter than average selection for the area. Area rugs, storage bins, furniture and lots more. I have found SO many things there that I have needed.just waiting for me to buy. Remember the Room of Requirement from HARRY POTTER? I swear to you, that is this Goodwill. If youre going shopping with your toddler at this location do not bother. They do not have shopping carts for you to put your toddler in. Just sincerely friendly staff who seem to enjoy, so I always feel at home.ĭo not come to this goodwill if youre expecting them to have shopping carts to put your children in. Its the best because its the Only One Around That Doesnt Employ A Rent -a Cop ! Its not the "destination location" of Powell/88th so it never feels picked over. Plus the spirit of Reed college over around the way. The affluence of the East + Westmoreland golf club neighborhood helps.
